This is were their story begins. They met fell in love and the rest is history. Their wedding was infused with the spirit of the 49ers. Having their cheerleading coacoach perform the ceremony while the cheerleading squad welcomed their guests to the wedding.

The morning started at 7 am at the bride's house for the morning ceremony, then off to the groom's house for the second part of the traditional ceremony, followed by a Catholic ceremony. Whew. What a very busy morning. We then scurried off to capture the photos of the party in Orange, and then off to the beautiful Villa in Westminster California.

My first glance at this wedding really disillusioned me to think that this all took place in the lovely island of Hawaii. I can already smell the exhilarating senses of Hawaiian islands from the ocean saltwater to the freshly-cut grass and flowers. Take a step into the tropics without too far of a trip to Laguna Beach, midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, California. Great go-to place for a fun beach day! 

The first thing that really caught my attention from the wedding reception was the overall simple sophistication of the Salt Creek Grille. Their American culinary creations will have all of your guests' mouths watering over the freshest and finest meat and poultry. On top of that, it is easy to tell from this beautiful couple's photos that it sets as a relaxing setting to settle down and enjoy a crisp glass of wine with good friends. I really love the mood that the outdoor lighting sets. Definitely a great place to check out for your average fancy night out!

Growing up in the Michigan they were childhood classmates but lost touch with each other during college. Fortunately, they were reunited in Turkey when they literally crossed paths hiking in Cappadocia.

Now back together in New Holland, Michigan, we decided to take advantage of the local flora for their engagement shoot. It was a perfect, early summer day with an environment so relaxed it was almost as if I wasn’t there, and it shows in these excellent photos.Love blossomed early for Emily and Mark, but it took a circuitous route before finally bringing them back together. Growing up in the Michigan they were childhood classmates but lost touch with each other during college. Our actual first steps, our first day at school, our first day of work, and most importantly, our first steps we take together as a married couple. As a photographer, I try to put myself into the shoes of the couple as they take these first steps to capture the emotions they are feeling, which isn’t always easy because oftentimes nervousness is the overriding emotion when having photographs taken. Not only have we successfully captured their moment, but Sarah and Brian have charmingly created the memory on their own.
